Lesson Policies
•
The cost for private lessons at Hollowood Music Academy
is $20 per half-hour. The payment is to be made as monthly
tuition and is due on the first lesson of the month.
The tuition for a four-week month is $80; a five-week
month is $100. There are no refunds.
•
The lessons are scheduled to be met at a regularly scheduled
time each week. When scheduling a lesson time, it is
strongly recommended to choose a time that will not
be interfered with by other commitments or obligations.
•
A lesson will be credited or rescheduled if the instructor
cancels or if the student provides a minimum of twenty-four
hour notice. Limit of one per month. A “no show”
by the student will not result in a rescheduled or credited
lesson.
•
A “no show” on a week when a payment is
due may be interpreted by the instructor as a discontinuation
of lessons. Failure to pay tuition in a timely manner
may result in a termination of lessons.
•
If the student decides to discontinue lessons, please
be courteous and notify the instructor so they can fill
the vacant time.
•
Payments are to be made by cash or check only. Payment
by credit or debit cards is not accepted. Checks are
to be made payable to the instructor and not Hollowood
Music Academy. If the check is returned, the student
must pay the full amount in cash the following week
in addition to any fines or penalty fees administered
to the instructor’s account.
•
Please attend the lessons with your instrument in a
case and in good working condition. Appointments with
the in-store technician (Mike Bonelli) can be scheduled
in conjunction with your lesson time.
•
Becoming a skilled musician requires serious effort,
dedication, diligence and patience. Practice must be
done daily and consistently.
•
The instructors appreciate the good rapport they develop
with their students. Maintaining these policies stated
above will result in a mutually beneficial experience
for both the student and the instructor.
