Professional Guitarist

Ian Arthurs (Aug 29, 86) is one of the finest young guitarists in Pittsburgh. Ian has won several awards and scholarships throughout his career. Most recently, his band, “The Ian Arthurs Band” was voted the best blues band in Pittsburgh in 2008. Since he began playing at the age of 10, Ian has studied with a number of great musicians: Joe Negri, Jimmy Bruno, Jack Wilkins, and Steve Delach. Ian started teaching professionally at the age of 18 and his youth is really one of his greatest strengths as a teacher. Though Ian is capable of playing and teaching all styles of music, his strengths are Blues, Jazz, and Rock. Ian teaches a wide range of students (ages 5-75) and enjoys working with young kids as well as adults!
